Puppets on the Go - a crate based outreach program

Posted 2008-12-11 09:21 by W.P. Puppet Theatre Society

Puppets on the Go is a crate based outreach program designed by Wendy Passmore-Godfrey, Artistic Director, which builds on her 25 years of experience in teaching school workshops, artist residencies and professional development.  The first crate in the Puppets on the Go series is called “Introducing Shadow Puppets” and is designed for grades k-2. When it arrives in the classroom, the traveling case opens to reveal an array of colours, shapes and materials, inviting children’s imaginations to explore the rich culture and long history of puppetry in a creative learning environment.
