As part of its commitment to the community ATP strives to include young people and educators in the world of theatre. We offer a number of different opportunities to enjoy, discover and learn about the theatre on and off stage! Our Legacy Programs are how ATP shares its expertise, enthusiasm and resources with others.

Our LEGACY PROGRAMS include:

CLASSROOM CONNECTIONS

Student Matinee Series -- ATP offers subsidized tickets to select performances throughout the season to encourage attendance by young audiences and to extend the theatre experience to those students who may not otherwise be able to attend.

Classroom Visits -- We bring professional actors into the classroom to engage students in a face-to-face discussion of the creative process and the life of an actor. Directors, dramaturgs, set and costume designers may also be part of the visit.

Teacher Study Guides -- Study guides are produced for each student matinee series play ( written by a teacher!!) and are distributed free of charge to those teachers who wish to incorporate some of the content into their curriculum. Curriculum links included.
