Pony Bead Animals - Level 1 (Gr. 1 & 2)

This is a single-session course with the focus of nature in art.  Students create animals out of beads as a two-dimensionsl piece with the option of adding a third dimension using embellishments.  Options for shapes include dragonfly, monkey and tree frog.  Emphasis will be placed on colour choice, texture, contrast, and pattern, as well as the student's own expression (decision-making) while creating the piece.  Each piece is fitted with a lanyard hook or split ring so that it may be attached to the student's backpack.  (Pictures coming soon)
