Education Concert Listings 2008-2009
Have your school experience the CPO’s 2008–2009 Education Series, offering inspiring programs designed especially for elementary students. Concerts are shaped with themes in mind; stories to follow, and action packed comedic narration and orchestra interplay. Students will be exposed to rich, live orchestral repertoire from all periods of music history, in a setting that makes classical music fun and exciting!

Education III: "Symphonic Jazz"
March 10th, 11th, 12th 2009.

New Orleans, Memphis, Chicago... Three landmark cities where jazz and blues were born: embark on a CPO field trip throughout North America, as we delve into the fusion of two great musical worlds. Come hear our swinging violas, our bluesy clarinets and our be-bopping contrabasses! You'll leave the hall amazzed...
